As Workspace fills with documents, threads, meetings, and tasks, finding things has to stay instant. Two surfaces now make that true: the command palette for speed, and the search page for depth.
The command palette
Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux) for a single omnibar. Type to search across documents, meeting notes, calendar events, tasks, and conversations; filter quick actions; switch between Chat, Cowork, and Create; or jump to any top-level page. Scoped prefixes narrow it fast—# for documents and meeting notes, @ for conversations.
The full search page
When you need the complete result set, the search page adds category filters and persistent, shareable URLs. Your query lives in the link, so you can bookmark a search or send it to a teammate—who sees the same query, with results scoped to their own permissions.
Indexes update in real time: create a document or task and it is searchable immediately, no sync wait. It is a small thing that compounds across a workday. See Workspace.
